Luke S. Kennedy has a special talent where he creates a massive impact and inspires change and self-realisation to a wide range of audiences, from large corporate events, to primary schools, high schools, and even prisons.
Through his “breathtaking story”, the main focus for the presentation is to open audience’s eyes up to ego – to the labels that we battle to live up to, and also how worrying what other people think is ruining our relationships, ideas, happiness, and success. Luke shows how when we come into this world we are a pure spirit with unlimited potential and happiness. As life goes on though we get disconnected from this true-self. Some crappy things might happen to us, we will do some silly things, or we get some negative beliefs about ourselves or labelled with certain things that take us away from this true happy-self. The further we get away from the true-self, the unhappier we become because we’re not being ourselves.
There’s countless speakers out there that focus on the content of success, and strategies. Without working on the individual’s mental health and self-realisation, progress in any form is stunted.
For eight years of his life, Luke was an obese alcoholic and drug addicted thug. Leading a violent street fighting crew, he was stabbed on two separate occasions; once in the lung, the other time in the head.
On the outside he looked strong and confident, on the inside his thoughts would come to haunt him. He was incredibly scared, depressed, anxious, and awkward in social situations. Luke always worried what other people thought about him which led to him committing some harsh acts and missing out on many positive opportunities.
Becoming a successful business owner, mental health advocate, and one of Australia’s top motivational speakers, his purpose is to now use his experience to inspire, motivate, and enlighten others. To stop worrying what other people think. To develop personally & professionally. To shed the labels. To be free.
